That came to my mind as well: more akin to the likes of Les Ferdinand, Dwight Yorke, Alan Shearer or van Nistelrooy (well 2000s).

Admittedly, I think he would still suit a Moyes side and would probably do pretty well for us, because we are far less expansive than Aston Villa.

It always makes me chuckle how Newcastle spent £40m on Joelinton six years ago as a centre forward and hyped him up to be the second coming.

In reality, he's ended up with a scoring record of nearly 1 in 8 across all competitions during his time at the Newcastle, and even worse in the PL.

Yet, to be fair, he's ended up doing fairly well in a central midfield role.

Yet, to be fair, he's ended up doing fairly well in a central midfield role.

He was always a little miscast because he’s tall. They wanted to stick him up top and launch balls at his head originally which wasn’t his game even when he played center forward.
