It is interesting that some of those managers who dislike working with DoF’s and insist on control also happen to have close relatives involved in player recruitment or representation.
It’s my natural cynicism that sometimes makes me wonder if the ‘traditional’ aspect of the game they are wedded to is one involving brown envelopes in motorway service stations .

Obviously there will be targets and expectations agreed between manager and owners prior to appointment.
If he achieves those his position will be secure.
We can only guess at what his objectives for this season are, but we can presume European qualification would feature highly.

The first sign of a poor run and he will be gone imo, this isn't Kenwrights club anymore it's TFG'S and one look at Roma will show you that they don't put up with failure too often.

We haven't played a 'proper' match yet & people are talking about him being sacked already, to be expected from Davek but the rest of you?
He did well last season & will do well this.
