Yea we should just get him inAgreed. However look at it another way, they could be fighting hard as they are confident he will be a £70m+ player soon. If that is the case and he either stays and does great things for us or we move him on for a profit and we've had the benefit of a player for no outlay.
If based on the figures above we cut the sell on fee to something more sensible like 12.5% it means they would get just over 3m on that 70m transfer, we would get 3 and a bit more. So as I said in a previous post we are squabbling over a few million pound. If we've identified him as a future baller who can do a job now, just get it done and build him up. Instead of yeah we think you're good but not that good.
