I get that he doesn't like these things being leaked, but it's not a big deal. Most managers give frank injury updates ahead of every game.

wouldnt be a big deal if it was a one off but it's not.
It's an issue that's gotten to the point where he has to address it publicly.

To be fair Moyes is maybe less bothered about this particular leak than what other info is coming out.
As others have said, this would likely have come out before the game regardless, today if not sooner.
But the bigger issue is a potential leaker providing team or tactical information for possible financial gain.
Could be to competitors via a 3rd party or to a betting syndicate, but if there’s loose lips in the camp who knows what else they’re possibly up to.
Could be just someone tipping off their mate the bobble about team news and injuries but the risk is there’s something more nefarious at play.
