…I just edited opposition into my post. Moyes would likely informed Branthwaite injury today anyway, the opposition will prepare for that as a consequence.

What if they've been preparing all week for Branthwaite to play and for us to be in a 4-2-3-1 as normal, but they find out a few days earlier he's gone and then think "hmm they covered for this in the Summer doing a 5-2-2-1, let's look to counter that too"

Hyperbole of course but it definitely would help.

Good news. Someone has been taking the piss for far too long leaking confidential information.

Bad news for Bobble who will no longer be able to charge for information he gets for free.
Do you really think if the bobble hadnt posted this, nothing would have come out in the last 2 days and the first we’d have heard was in the presser. 😂😂😂
I remember Barkley getting injured the day before the season started About 10yrs ago and it was all over twitter and it turned out to be true, these things always get out.

If this was Paul Joyce or Ornstien, or another journalist, there would be nowhere near the outcry

….from what I see, posters are happy getting leaked information but complain about the people who leak information

Personally, fans will be informed about an injury by the Manager ahead of a game, it doesn’t make a lot of difference if that happens a few days earlier.
There was a guy here years ago DAVIDMOYES i think
He used to post accurate transfer info, he'd rarely post anything but when he did you'd take note.
That's the kind of ITK I want.
Then there's the bobble who tried to build a following by releasing the line ups 5 mins before the club.
Then paywalled his info. He profiteered off Everton's ineptitude. It was never acceptable and always going to go too far.
I'm amazed the club let it run this long.
Hearing that he needs to sling his hook and ride off in to the sunset with his patreon bucks is the best news of pre season.

How amateurish does that look to players and agents when Moyes is flagging up club security-privacy issues during a period when we're trying to look professional and get signings done.

Daft as a 'kin brush revealing all that.

….Branthwaite being injured doesn’t inform a change of system, it’ll actually add to the confusion the opposition now have. I think it more likely to add a belief that we lack defensive pace so that could influence their selection but they’d know that today anyway given Moyes presser.

It is what it is, I don’t think it’s precious information.

so what you're saying is the club should just get over it?
