New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

My OCD trigger is the remaining detritus on the concourse roofing.

Most of it has been cleared recently, I assume in the next week or so it will be fully cleared and receive the screed finish to make it look spick and span. It does need that clean.

Went the shop earlier for some shorts n shizz for my jollies. The stairwell is horrific. Still has all the charm and appeal of a building site.
I don't mind the 'industrial' look but half arsed patches of concrete and bare insulation boards just looks horrendous.
Get it sorted you muppets.

Staff were great but the layout and range of product needs a big kick up the arse. Amateurish, like someone has never set a retail unit up before.

The roof screed was an actual part of the plans though, not a superficial addition like the Hill Dickinson signage and store lettering which did not appear on the plan. Yet the screed still isn't done, hence, according to the plans, the stadium is not complete yet (it is structurally). It's not about the colour per se, even if it was white/concrete looking, it's just the fact it hasn't been done yet and the season kicks off very soon. I assume the signage would have been up quicker too only for the whole repainting fiasco.

On that design that showed the gray /black roof screed, there was also outer wind baffles and skylights in the western terrace that haven't been put in and it doesn't show Everton Way which has. Now the screeding might still get done, but it shows plans can change.

Money is the limiting factor for most of us with our homes, not care or interest.

Everton Football Club can afford to screed a roof or two.

Have you tried getting in a builder? It's almost impossible!

LOR asked the club if they wanted an escalator installing (cut a hole out the concrete slab and fitted), and the club declined.

The stairwell is by design a back of house exit route, hence its look and (the lack of) aesthetics; it wasn’t part of the shop.

contacted the club regarding club view. It was like it still wasnt finished and very underwhelming to say the least. There was only 1 bar open serving the whole of club view, got in the queue for a pint at 2pm, served at 2.40pm? 2 of the bars in the corners where not even open, im hoping to see improvement for the brighton game. I know many people I spoke to in club view felt the same....
Couldn’t make the Roma game so can’t comment, but have hardly heard anything positive about it. They’re selling it alongside the premium packages/lounges so they must have bigger plans for it.
