Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

We have also purchased very average ones .
Like it or not , unless you have a superlative scouting system , and/ or a superb academy you have to pay the money if want a better quality of player.
( Our scouting and academy are both notably poor at the moment)
We have 49 scouts.... the new owners are not happy about it either I read if it is true ?

Dibling played 33 premier league games last season, scoring two goals and making an assist in an ultra crap Southampton side. The idea that he'd need two years to 'develop' is ridiculous imo. He'd be a starter from the get go.
Wanna bet? I think he would come off the bench and start here and there. That output proves he isn't plug in and play

Yeh, we'll definitely spend 50m on a sub...
He wouldn't start every week in my mind that's my point he is 19 huge gamble i get we have to take them but its a very expensive one and one that takes up most of our budget. Comparing his stats at Saints to how much he would play here isn't like for like, totally different expectations.. Also my point was he will take time to fully develop at 19 that is just fact he can start games but is he plug and play?
I like the potential but relying on a 19 year old to solve our longstanding right wing issues is a gamble surely... we need two players there but alas this is Everton so we will shunt Ndiaye there and make do as we do at right back. I am not convinced this deal even happens and I don't see who are back up option is, hence my point its a gamble every way you look at it.

You don't overpay for anything in real life Football is the same ....
But what criteria are you basing your valuation on .
If you pay less you are going below the level of a Hutchinson for example.
Ironically the less money you spend the higher chance you have of gaining an inferior player and having to spend more again to upgrade later.
As I have alluded superior scouting can offset that risk , but we have seen no evidence of that so far this window .( except perhaps the Bayern lad )
