I've been waiting for this too.Does anybody have insight as to when the dark grey screeding (not sure if correct terminology) is being done on the flat roof areas like shown in the renders? I assumed it would be the last job so it doesn't get damaged and that they were waiting for the painting works and final touches, ie lettering, to be done before starting. If so, it can't be far off now... I would also think they'd want it done before the TV cameras get the money shots on that first home game.
I believe that’s true, it’s an F1 affiliated track iirc.A Spurs fan on holiday told me it had an underground go kart track,

The roof will always be exposed - no one really cares too much what colour it is anymore than they care about the roof of any other stadium.I've been waiting for this too.
I would imagine it must be done next week. It would be a disgrace to have an exposed roof for the TV cameras on the night of the Brighton match.
Most of the roofs at the East side seem clear now, anyway, so this shouldn't be too far away now.
I assure you there are people in this thread who care what colour the roof is.The roof will always be exposed - no one really cares too much what colour it is anymore than they care about the roof of any other stadium.
You realise when they screed it that it'll be stained the week after the next big shower.I assure you there are people in this thread who care what colour the roof is.
Even if drones were a thing, it’d bother me to know that bare, stained concrete was up there unscreeded.
It’s going to be very dark grey / black. That’ll make all the difference. You realise when they screed it that it'll be stained the week after the next big shower.
And "Wild Water" swimming to the side! We've got a massive sand pit.
They can work away up there undisturbed for the majority of the time. Outside of a match day they can do it pretty when they like.I'd be surprised if they do anything before Brighton, more like a job for an international break when we are not playing for a few weeks.
That's if they do anything at all.
A voice of reason.I assure you there are people in this thread who care what colour the roof is.
Even if drones were a thing, it’d bother me to know that bare, stained concrete was up there unscreeded.
How long does it take and how quick after the match does it leave?Park for free somewhere near Goodison and get the Kirkby Soccerbus for £2 ew to and from BMD. Quicker and cheaper than parking anywhere near town.
