We have been calling for a change to the business model for years, we need to identify young talent develop with a view to huge profits. Buy talent on the way up as opposed to expensive players, ageing and on the way down.

People seem to thing he has to be at 100 the day he lands, he needs to contribute and progress and we as a club can do the same.

This is exactly the kind of player we should be signing more of, blended with experience to build a strong team.

I agree with the model however given the teams requirements & psr we can’t be spending so much on one player. In short model is right but not the execution. I would say Azhnou is more in line with what we need to do. This is also why we shouldn’t be touching Grealish.

I think you are 100% right. Just sit back and enjoy the circus, there's nothing we can do about it so at least enjoy that.

I suspect that Southampton were sorting out what they needed to do with his replacement and/or ironing out any details. Be nice to have him in by the weekend even though it's most likely too late for him to be part of the team before Leeds.
