Season tickets arrived but people can’t download on Android any tips?

I've just had the same response to my application for a physical ticket as @Dario Terracotta above. It said:

"Based on the information reviewed, we are unable to approve your application on this occasion. Our records show that your account has previously been able to access matches using a digital ticket, and we have not identified any barriers that would prevent you from continuing to do so in future."

This is completely wrong though. I've defo never used a digital ticket to go to a game. Always had a physical season ticket. So I've challenged it.
Same! I had a work phone a few years ago and downloaded the digital ticket onto that ad guess what? It didn't let me through the turnstiles. Requested physical ticket then and now and have been denied. I don't always carry a phone and the one I used previously was a work phone which I no longer have. How can we challenge this? I don't see how the Club can be allowed to dictate that we MUST carry a smartphone

I already had a case open with fan services so I replied to the last email from that last night explaining what had happened, making it very clear that i had never used a digital ticket before.

I have raised with CAB and Trading Standards today as well as a complaint via EFC website. CAB suggested that the Club should provide physical tickets as a gesture of good will - not sure that'll work!

I'd have thought the UK’s Equality Act 2010 can be cited if a purely digital method discriminates against someone without a smartphone. Potentially even consumer rights. Everton didn't confirm the process prior you purchasing your season ticket.

Everton will be doing all they can to discourage and prompt people to digital for their own financial gain, but if people genuinely haven't got a smartphone they'll have to provide a ticket.
 
Just rang up the ticket office as I’d not received mine or my dad’s STs. The lad sent them over straight away.

Asked him about potentially having both tickets on my phone and both on my dad’s and he said it doesn’t let you have the ticket on multiple devices and comes up with an error message. I’ve just tried it and I’ve added them both successfully to my phone (iPhone) and my dad’s (Android) Can’t see a reason why the tickets won’t work but I guess we’ll find out at the match next week!
 

Got through finally after 2 hours🙄about my application rejected for season cards and no NFC on my phone yet T&C's state it is a requirement to be told as my tickets have downloaded to my Google wallet they will work 100% with or without NFC,oh well will find out next week I guess🙄👍

Importantly, if the club are citing the use of a digital ticket in one of the test events as evidence people are able to, did they offer an alterative?

If not, people may have been forced to have provided their ticket to someone else to scan them in, which is fine for one fixture. For a season... not a chance.
 
Some people have got their email and to download new season tickets into wallets. Apple users are having no problem but Android users can’t download has anyone been able to on an android phone? I have both so im ok but a friend only has Samsung and can’t get it to load into wallet.
One of my friends is having problems, it won't go onto his android phone so he phoned the club and they advised him to buy an iPhone and set up a new email account, he asked could he have a card so he didn't have to fork out for a phone and they said they'll look into it and make a decision in the next few days and get back to him, if they refuse the card request he'll have to buy an iPhone, he is at his wits end with the whole process, on the phone to them for best part of an hour, he's been a season ticket holder for 32 years

Mate having same problem, they advised him to buy an iPhone and set up new email account, waiting for an answer whether he can have a card for admission to ground, on the phone for best part of an hour

No need for an i phone. Download Google wallet to your Android and the digital ticket goes there.

I've an old Samsung S9 android. If your phone can download the Google Wallet app it should be easy to download any tickets to that wallet. Mine can!
