Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

Dibling to Hutchinson is a massive downgrade.

Get the Dibling deal done Everton.
Hutchinson would be 7th choice even, and that's just from the players we've heard about from semi-reliable sources. Conceicao to Kubo to Bakayoko to Fofana to Dibling to Fatawu to Hutchinson.

The further down that list we go, the closer we get to Elland Road - both in terms of our fixture list and potential RW targets

The Leeds game isn’t a relevant deadline in relation to signings.

She also said there is a buy option in the grealish deal but no price agreed.

How does that even work?? Ornstein, fab etc all agreed on £50m
I didn't think £50 million made any sense. His remaining book value at Many City should be about £34 million, or £17 million this year and next. The transfer fee is £12 million and there's a wage split, which, depending on the split and how they do the accounting, should come out at least even on PSR. That would mean a minimum option of £17 million at the end of the loan to break even on the final year of amortisation. How is the remaining £33 million justified? It would be the same as not including an option.

It's much more likely that the the loan would formalize the ability to negotiate a permanent transfer to make the future negotiation more seamless. It also signals a willingness from all parties to have a good relationship and make the player comfortable.

Ornstein and Romano clearly briefed by City.

Paddy has mentioned the 50m option in his piece but admits that it can be negotiated. So it’s clearly not concrete from the Everton side of the briefing.

I don’t put any credence in the Hutchinson rumour , he is a very average player .
If there is a scintilla of truth in the report it would once again emphasise how utterly appalling and unimaginative our scouting is.
When the head of recruitment finally takes up his position his first action should be to dismiss every scout we have on the payroll and start again from scratch.

Key point that some keep forgetting. I’d understand the panic as we got worryingly closer to sept 1st, but I’d much rather play the long game and get the players we want, rather than go early and be stuck with players way down the list, just to passify fans.
