Average conceding 2.5 goals a game when he plays. He's just 4th choice though and won't play much it'll hardly matter.
I genuinely don't believe there's a bigger risk in world football than Keane filling in at center back. Edit: ok Patto out ranks him. This doesn't take into account who we can get though. If you aren't replacing Branthwaite and JOB is Tarks replacement in an ideal world, you are looking at untested youth or a has-been with just as much risk as Keane. Plus we use up the transfer budget that we need in other areas.
It's kind of typical that it would happen, just hope Branthwaite is not going to be out for too long and Keane plays as well as he did at the end of last season.
I have watched every match this chump has started in the last eight years.I genuinely don't believe there's a bigger risk in world football than Keane filling in at center back. Edit: ok Patto out ranks him.

It doesn't matter who plays with, he's been here forever and no matter his defensive partner we go to pieces, the full backs get no direction and we concede multiple goals a game.Tyrone Mings must be close for starters.
It depends who he plays with and against. Actually rather see Jake play alongside Keane as he at least has a bit of pace to complement. Have Leeds the pace to hurt us?
Interestingly Keane has started at CB in every game for us in August since 2021...."Pragmatic. 4th choice. Will hardly play."
Only five fit defenders in the squad. One of them is Michael Keane. Another is Nathan Patterson. A third is a 19 year old lad who's just signed.
We haven't won a league game in August since 2021.
Oh Son of JB...If Keane starts the season in the form he ended the last one then Branthwaite will have a fight on his hands to win back his place in the starting 11.
Thank You for spelling it out.The defensive record even he okay compared to when any other CB has played and he hasn't for us is absolutely alarming, pretty much off the top of my head as I did do the stats last season - we on average concede 3 or more goals about every third games he's played for us, we've conceded four or more on around 1 in five games.
He is an absolutely atrocious defender who has a repeated habit of being the common denominator whenever we completely fall apart defensively over the past 3-4 seasons.
But, hey he played ok twice last season so we'll be fine the first 6 games with him - should i laugh now that one of those is the Anfield Derby
