The last three seasons Keane has started , does he have it written into his contract? But seriously it is horrendous news(we have started all of these seasons badly) and we do need a right back.

I count what I’ve seen over the last 9 years personally rather than a few decent games at the end of the season with no pressure on him.

He is an utter shambles of a defender and makes everyone around him worse.

Unpopular opinion but I don't get the hate for him.

He didn't make us sign him, give him new contracts or force every manager from Ancelotti to Moyes to play him.

Has he been the best £25m we've ever spent, no.

Has he been the worst £25m we've ever spent, no.

He's scored important goals in big games.
We don't come back against Palace without his first goal.

There's better back up CBs, but they'd cost dough we haven't got or need for other positions.

As long as he plays for us, I really hope the lad does well.
