Would say unlucky but patterson coleman both players who seem to pick up alot of injuries now. Then say keane/ obrien got injured be very little options, rb should have been in imo

Didn't we all know Michael Keane was gonna be starting the season in the starting XI anyway? Even when his contract has expired I knew he'd start the season as one of two fit centre halves.

….they are amazingly firm but they replicate PL surfaces. Whilst they might be a cause of major joint trauma, I’d not be blaming them for muscle injury.

The worry is were now relying on Tarkwoski to be 100% otherwise were in serious trouble

4th choice Keane, back to being a start as usual

We should have bought an actual centre back who isn’t a walking relegation machine.

It’s more annoying though that once again we’re starting a season without Branthwaite fit. We won’t get off to a good start because once again Everton football club cannot keep its best players fit.

I give Grealish about 20 mins of the best cameo you’ve ever seen before he does his as well. Then Ndiaye will drop just before the derby and we’ll be playing them with McNeil and Alcaraz on the wings and Keane and Coleman at the back.

Hopefully this forces the us to address the right back situation pronto . You ideally need to partner Tarkowski and Keane with one of Branthwaite / O'Brien, rather than them playing together.
