I only learned a few years back that the Flu vaccine is effective to varying degrees each year because they have to do statistical modeling to anticipate which strains are likely to be dominant after the vaccine production and distribution timeframe. Sometimes they get it way off or a new mutation comes in and renders the vaccines ineffective for that season.

Yeah I’d just treat the two similarly now. Get the yearly jab like you would flu.

Joey vaccines don’t completely stop you catching something, they reduce symptoms drastically and reduce transmission.

Yes they’re safe. By slight stroke I assume you mean transient ischaemic attack. There’s a huge chance they’d have had those regardless of the vaccines. Think of all the millions who had the vaccines that didn’t have a “slight stroke”.
