Yeah, I get the Grealish comparison, but Grealish at 19 was on another planet to Dibling.

To me, he's just been massively overhyped by pundits to condescend to Southampton fans for the awful season they were having.

tends to be the case with relegated teams and their standout players u just dunno.

we are fortunate to have Pickford and gana.

for every Pickford there's a Ramsey who saves like 20 shots a game but still lets in 4 or 5 so its hard to tell.
or a cdm or defender who makes like a ton of tackles yet the team still ships in goals from mistakes.

Be interesting to see whether or not he is in the squad for their game on Sunday against Ipswich. You would assume if he is not then they are still expecting him to leave. Be nice if news broke before then but it would be need to be tomorrow if that was to happen.

The chances of doing this are still there and have probably increased but I hope it doesn't go down to the wire as in that scenario we might well end up with nobody.

I got it that if it was going to get done we would prob have had news drop before then that had been agreed before the ipswich game. Think if not news by friday would say most likely wont happen imo
