Dominic Calvert-Lewin watch

Good luck to the lad. Would've liked to keep him to see if he benefitted from better service - but his injury record was just too much of a gamble for the dough he wanted.

That’s a stinker of a move for him, there’s no guarantee he gets into the team ahead of Piroe and certainly no guarantee Leeds are strong enough to stay up.

Best of luck to him but I seriously doubt this is the dream move he envisaged when he left.

I see Dom still lives rent free in a lot of folks head here, like some mad mental disease.

Dom Derangement Disease.

Mate, it’s a thread about DCL.

People are going to post stuff about DCL in a thread about DCL.

That’s not living “rent free” in someone’s head.

God I hate that saying, it’s such a Tory / kopite / reformer smug response to any subject.

Last month, Leeds boss Daniel Farke revealed he had informed 31-year-old Bamford he could leave, saying: “I had a really open and honest conversation with Patrick, which was important. He knows how much I rate him as a player, and I would have preferred a fit Patrick Bamford for the last two seasons.

“But he is a player who needs to be the main man. He needs an arm round the shoulder after some difficult seasons. I was not willing to tell him he was the main man at Premier League level.

You could quite easily replace Bamford with Dom in those statements  🤷‍♂️

It is pretty telling he was used more to wind others up than anything he has accomplished as a player.

You never know he might do well there so you might have some more fun fellas.
