Well seems one way or another we’ll know today or latest tmrw if he’s coming and this thread could be lost to the ages…along with our doomed pursuits of Gnoto, Sean Davies or Moutinho.

Although i’ve invested everything in these 13 days the highs and the lows…

If this fails…i’m not sure how i’ll move on…until the next tantalising thread opens!!

He isnt the only right winger out there.

If Dibling wants this transfer as much as he says he does, why doesn’t he put in an official request.

The fact he isn’t being considered for Southampton tells its own story but he really needs to start forcing the issue from his side to get the move.

I think Southampton are still fishing for other clubs to get involved.

I'll be honest, if the difference is down to 3-4m just bloody pey it at this point.

Not sure if you are willing to throw down 45m on a 19yo that the extra 4-5m makes a difference on that, it's such a huge outlay already that you'd hope they must be absolutely convinced the lad is gonna develop into something special.

At best it means we lose 5m of a future huge sell on fee. At worst we've thrown 50 rather than 45 down the drain which will hardly ease the pain anyways.

Caveat as well, the higher the fee then the bar on his price is set higher if we ever did sell him.

Also he seems to be using our first offer rather than the second assuming both happened as reported, second offer was around 40m euros plus add ons
