Gordon had played more i think but to be fair he wanted out as well, dibling hasn't kicked up much of a fuss as far as we know but i still think we've got as close to his valuation. Gordon also went to cash rich Newcastle which in itself would have added a premium.

At that stage you still had PSR as a massive concern, so no matter how rich you are it was meaningless. Of course with the added caveat psr doesn't count if you're, City, United, Arsenal or Liverpool.

I'm not sure. I think Dibbling has more in his locker and thus a much higher ceiling than Gordon. And I do think Gordon is a good player

I’d say Gordon had done more in the prem than dibling had. However diblings ceiling is much higher

So their fees should be similar.

Our deal with Newcastle I think was £40m, £5m in add ons and pretty sure we've got a sell on haven't a clue what it is like.

A good question. Glad I'm not on the hook for answering it and working out a price that is acceptable in the transfer team responsible for making a bid.

£37m for Dibling, Michael Keane (valued at £18m) part exchange, 50% sell-on clause for any fee we receive over £120m in case of a future sale (if we sell for £240m, they get £60m), £15m if we win either the Europa League or Champions League during Dibling's contract with Everton.

Total potential transfer value up to £130m.

Surely they would accept that.
