The font on the HD lettering will be their own corporate house style font and nothing to do with Everton. It will appear in the same format whever it is used and won't vary.

I did think this but it still looks absolutely crap. It’s front and centre on a brand new grand and have competing fonts is amateur.

Meant to put this up on Saturday, thought it was a good picture from an unusual(ish)vantage point (just on the bridge between Nelson Dock car park and the players car park).

Somebody wasn't listening in the lesson on text hierarchy in design college.

There's nothing wrong with that font. It's bland and corporate, but completely harmless. Could've been a LOT worse. See their current branding on the HD website for example.

I actually think it suits the build pretty perfectly myself.

Dave they are paying for a service like everyone else does and it helps us with PSR. Possibly too much maybe, but unlike others this has grown on me I like the font and the way it will light up. But we do need more Everton stuff in and out of the stadium.

Totally agree mate. Think it’s absolutely fine.

It looks to me as if the font has been specifically designed to suit the stadium. There is consistency between the curvature of the roof and the arcs of the lettering.

Using their existing logo would have looked jarring.

Yeah I'd like to see something doe with the seats, like we had at Goodison maybe make that big massive wall given an Everton fc lettering.

Agree I quite like it if I'm honest and we are being well paid for it.
