£37m for Dibling, Michael Keane (valued at £18m) part exchange, 50% sell-on clause for any fee we receive over £120m in case of a future sale (if we sell for £240m, they get £60m), £15m if we win either the Europa League or Champions League during Dibling's contract with Everton.

Total potential transfer value up to £130m.

Surely they would accept that.

You want locking up for thoughts like this mate. Proper schizo

I think they probably do though. If Everton sign one of the other options, that's Southampton scrabbling around to sell him to somebody else, or, they keep him and have him move into the final year of his contract in the summer. Not the situation you would want with such a valuable asset.
Then they become desperate and any other bidder comes in lower

….i suspect Soton are wanting other suitors to come out and more closely meet their valuation. That’s my thinking. Our ‘final’ offer is on the table, if no club comes in to better that before the end of the month, then Soton will want to do business with us.

It’s a dangerous game to play, especially if we do acquire another option.
If it’s true that they are giving us another ‘final’ offer today after we turned their last one down and didn’t counter, that really does suggest they view us as their best hope to wring as much value out of him as possible.

We’ll see, as you say ultimately they want to make as much money out of him as possible and they won’t care who pays for his services.

Do we put in a buy back clause if Keane gets the ballon do’r next season?

Think we will move on.
Need right sided players for the season.
Could get a right winger and decent fullback for the money .
Not worth risking the season messing about over a player we may or may not get.

Can we? Like who?

Can we? Like who?
Fellows WBA, George from Chelsea academy player of the year for them last year, and has already scored a couple for the first team.
van ewijk Coventry for fullback
Havnt been linked with him but I like the look of him.
And more than likely loads of others around the world
He isnt the only right winger out there.

We've tried to get a few, and none seem to be available. Fellows? he isn't good enough at all.

How much would George cost? Chelsea don't sell cheap

I think if we were going to move in we would have a lot more clearer than we have, there’s still one last attempt at this. Will Still said last night it’s up to the player if he wants to reintegrate, it will be a big indication what Dibling does next.
