ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I'm sorry but this has become ridiculous now. I was gutted for the lad, his brother, his wife, family and most of all his kids. This won't end well.

A list of PL players who died young.
Would be interesting to know how many of them got more than 3 official minutes' silences

David Rocastle 31 March 2001 (aged 33)
Les Sealey 19 August 2001 (aged 43)
Marc-Vivien Foé 26 June 2003 (aged 28)
Jeroen Boere 16 August 2007 (aged 39)
Phil O'Donnell 29 December 2007 (aged 35)
Régis Genaux 8 November 2008 (aged 35)
Dean Richards 26 February 2011 (aged 36)
Gary Speed 27 November 2011 (aged 42)
Gary Ablett 1 January 2012 (aged 46)

I think the fact he was still playing at the top level just made it more of a shock . The lad had just won the league , I can’t speak for anyone else but I definitely had to take a second when I heard the news .

Are the RS generally maudlin , of course but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have a minutes silence in the first PL fixtures .

Dean Richards? Wtf??? The ex wolves Southampton spurs defender??

The BBC really are taking the biscuit now. Random massive article 'Mo Salah Egyptian king.' No context to it, just a big massive piece about him. Did he win the Balon D'or yesterday or something? Very strange timing for such an article seeing as he's barely played in a proper match for getting on 3 months.

Absolute joke.

Involuntary Rs propaganda funded by the license fee. BBC need binning

I've been wondering for a while now if one of the things a regulator should look at is how clubs are represented in the media, through pundits and journalists. I'd like to see a rule that makes any pundit declare an allegiance to one Premier League club and for that information to be displayed whenever they talk, whilst not letting more than one pundit per club for any game with all clubs having a representitive pundit of their own for every televised game they play in.
