Everton FC Player, Cliff Marshall was the first black Liverpudlian to play for Everton (1973-76) born in 1955, he grew up in Stanhope Street. unfortunately Cliff claims he received a bit of racial abuse in his early days from our own fans - a local lad from Toxteth -
