Do them both at once, that would be so Everton...

"Everton Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Jack Grealish on loan from Manchester City. During his first training session it emerged that Jack has a long-term recurring injury not detected during our thorough multi-stage medical process. As such, Jack has returned to his parent club with immediate effect for the forseeable future to receive treatment, during which time we will continue to pay his wages in full. We wish Jack a speedy recovery".
With him hobbling on crutches towards the camera on his intro video, past it and straight into an ambulance

Could be really good this.

If we can get him in anywhere near his top form, it’s a very very good signing.

My only gripes are that I didn’t realise he’s 30 soon, be nearly 31 if/ when we try to sign him permanently in a year.

But I guess he’s never relied on pace so hopefully a good few seasons to get out of him yet…

No way could it be anywhere near that fictitious 50 mill figure though.

Feel good factor signing though for sure…

I like the way his surname sounds like an adjective - for someone who's full of "greal", and greal is just what this team has been crying out for.

Pure greal, hope it rubs off on the rest of them

His brother might know something we don't

I hope so. It would avoid having to shuttle him or Illy out wide right, and gives him a lot of freedom. The big question would be what it means for KDH. Maybe he plays further back and then depending on the opposition, we go Gana-Garner-KDH in midfield with Grealish and Illy behind the striker or Gana-KDH with Grealish ahead in more of a #10.
