Well, it's about time we accentuated the traditional link between Ireland and Everton.
With the new stadium basically beckoning to us across the Irish Sea, it would be great if Everton became a destination of choice for the best young Irish players.

If we can get him in anywhere near his top form, it’s a very very good signing.
My only gripes are that I didn’t realise he’s 30 soon, be nearly 31 if/ when we try to sign him permanently in a year.
But I guess he’s never relied on pace so hopefully a good few seasons to get out of him yet.
No way could it be anywhere near that fictitious 50 mill figure though.

He says talks with Toffees manager David Moyes were decisive in him choosing to move to Hill Dickinson Stadium.
"I'm over the moon to have signed for Everton - it's massive for me, honestly. This is a great club, with great fans," said the England winger.
