You know, the fancy video , posed pictures etc! 😁

The most important things for comms professionals is knowing their audiences. You would have they would have gathered by now we're just happy to have confirmation he has signed (yes a photo proving it is nice!) and don't need some fancy video. I think it must have become a bit of an internal thing between clubs as to who is most creative and makes the best.

What’s his stats for giving you more control of a game? What’s his stats for taking pressure off the team by protecting the ball? What’s his stats for making space for other players when defenders double up on him?

People need to watch football rather than read numbers.
He’s an attacking midfielder, if his goals and assists are poor then everything else is secondary. Pienaar was another overrated player for us, poor on goals/assists but he got a free pass because he linked up with Baines.
The idea of spending £50 million on this guy in a season is up there with the worst excesses of Moshiri.

But we haven't agreed to buy him so not sure what you're whinging for.

Not sure if you are on the wind up.

Pienaar overrated! FFS.

He’s got injured in his first training session hasn’t he.
They’re currently still debating what to release first, the injury or the reveal video.
Do them both at once, that would be so Everton...

"Everton Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Jack Grealish on loan from Manchester City. During his first training session it emerged that Jack has a long-term recurring injury not detected during our thorough multi-stage medical process. As such, Jack has returned to his parent club with immediate effect for the forseeable future to receive treatment, during which time we will continue to pay his wages in full. We wish Jack a speedy recovery".

We’ve agreed a fee to buy him as part of this deal so we’ve clearly got the intention.
Say in this fantasy world he plays ridiculously well , scores and creates loads . Player of the year and drives us to Europe and he’s in the premier league team of the year . City get a new manager and they say I wanna see him or they decide his performances mean they want to nearly recoup their fee . We have a clause .

If he does well , if he’s crap , if he gets injured then we don’t have to activate the clause .

It surely just allows us to retain control over the situation going forward . As I said previously better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it
