He has been a very popular player for us but divides opinion on Bluemoon. In the stadium though his super Jacky Grealish song was belted out when he played well, and I sang it. He is a very warm hearted guy who is endearing..

I don't think he quite did enough last two seasons and Pep ran out of patience with him. If he's given a run in the team and allowed to roam I think Everton fans will be very happy. I think this move will be good for him and Everton. I hope he smashes it. Good luck I say.

No, I suppose you can look at it was a one off annual payment of between £10-15m anyway. Which is nothing if he gets us up the table.

I think at Everton he will be given a much freer role than he was under Pep.
At Villa he was not tied down to a particular position and that was what tempted City to pay so much for him.
