The amount of people "following" others through the barriers without scanning their cards/phones was crazy.
I know the technology is meant to be brilliant and its all camera controlled in someway but I did wonder at the time if people could feasibly be charged for stuff they didn't pick up and also could/would the cameras be used to identify those who didn't scan.
It was the Through Pass in the NE corner of the upper tier and there was just a single person at the barrier who I think was mainly there to explain how it worked and not to police it. There were no stewards anywhere to be seen.
