Amazing how it's only ever left footed players described as very one footed.

It's almost as though the issue is perception, rather than reality.

Whenever the discussion around one footed players comes up, Steven Gerrard is always one of the first names I think of.

Calculated risk for them, could also sign a new contract with a release clause for them.

What is promotion worth these days, just over 200 million??

Get promoted and sell next summer for 30 million would be a fantastic outcome for them.

If they get promoted he may even sign a further contract with them. No househunting, keep any current mates, and enjoy the sunny climate down there on the south coast riviera.

Well he hasn’t got better goal scoring stats in the prem. and like I’ve said he’s had a year in a weaker league ( championship) playing for a top team and got 6 in 40. That’s ok but nothing to shout about. Apparently Dibling is quite fast. I just don’t want to go for another player, who I think is below Dibling and will still probably cost us 35mil Think some of our fans are obsessed with pace, yes it’s important, but we’ve had some fast players who offered very little in the final 3rd.
Yeah some seem to want pace for the sake of only pace. I’m taking end product over pace 10 times out of 10.

Pace with end product is obviously the dream, and Fatawu may well be that. But you can be fast with the ball or fast over a short distance without being ‘blistering’. Dibling looks a very strong runner with the ball who can cover distance quick enough whilst holding off a few defenders.

Adama Traore was fast as anything but still absolute garbage.

He dribbles quite a lot with his strong foot, but he's far from Luca Digne/McNeil levels of one footed-ness.

I know what you mean though, it 'feels' more noticeable with lefties for some reason.

Just thinking out the box why don't we employ a team of coaches to teach so called profession footballers to improve what they do as a job might catch on

Traore is a definite enigma in the modern game.
I remember travelling to Boro and seeing him constantly rip us apart , he should have had shedload of goals , but thankfully no.
His career since has followed that pattern , all pace and very little product.
Good on the eye , and very good for his pocket . Nice work if you can get it .
