Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

Calculated risk for them, could also sign a new contract with a release clause for them.

What is promotion worth these days, just over 200 million??

Get promoted and sell next summer for 30 million would be a fantastic outcome for them.

True … bit could they sell him now and get another player or two to develop and also get promotion ?

That would be even better for them

Think I prefer the Leicester winger anyway, two footed and more end product. Tuuurnn Fatty !
Has he more end product, 2 yrs older and got no goals in 11 games for Leicester last season and 6 in 40 the year before near the top of the championship. I’d back dibbling to get better stats in the championship this season if he stayed and got his head on.

Think Dibling has a higher ceiling

He's signed lads

He may have a higher ceiling, but he is very one footed, we have one of those it limits what you can do, not that fast but if you're going off goals scored Diblings is not that great either and I know he's only young, but is he even attainable? Feel we have a better chance of Fattuia, ( spelling) and he will be cheaper and a bit more experienced. Don't get me wrong Dibling would be a great signing but we can't wait too long for an answer.

I still think this happens but I honestly don't think we're that worried about the depreciating asset.

Promotion is much more likely with him in the team than not and that earns us much more than we'd lose in fee this summer to next.

He'll have a lot more suitors next summer too which means the price won't drop as much as it normally would as they'll have to outbid each other.

In that respect it's arguably more important for you lot that it's done this summer as he'll likely have better offers next.
But he’s told Southampton he wants to leave, I don’t think Southampton put it out there last week his price, if they didn’t want to sell. You don’t say the price is 45mil if you don’t want a sale.

I think they thought, there would be an auction this summer and I think they’re pissed about this and are now between a rock and hard place. Probably hanging on to see if someone else comes in. The problem is most of the teams than can afford the price are champions league teams or a top team looking to get back into the top 4/5. Them teams are more likely looking for ready made players and Dibling would most likely spend more time on the bench at them clubs.

I think we're happy to sell at a silly price but we're also happy to keep him should that price not be met.

Be interesting to see whether he kicks off for it soon.

Well he hasn’t got better goal scoring stats in the prem. and like I’ve said he’s had a year in a weaker league ( championship) playing for a top team and got 6 in 40. That’s ok but nothing to shout about. Apparently Dibling is quite fast. I just don’t want to go for another player, who I think is below Dibling and will still probably cost us 35mil Think some of our fans are obsessed with pace, yes it’s important, but we’ve had some fast players who offered very little in the final 3rd.

Some of the best players in the history of the game have been one footed, Madonna, Messi, Bale and Robyn to name just a few.
