We all know Grealish is better than McNeil, but the goals/assist records are there to show McNeil isn’t a complete donkey and is still an asset in some capacity to us in his own right.

Again that’s opinion based, imo he’s not good enough as a squad player and should/will be moved on soon.

He is though, if you look a bit further beyond G/A he gives the ball away an alarming amount compared to anyone else. Also with Grealish and KDH now Dwight isn't going to be on set pieces anymore so that G/A number will go down, that's before you even talk about his ridiculous one footedness and his lack of pace. The average PL fullback is not bothered about playing against Dwight McNeil as he is easy to play against due to his limitations, he will be a bench/rotation player this season imo.

Doesn't need to be compared to Grealish, but he is the most disrespected player on this board I feel. Once he was allowed to drift inside on the left or play centrally, he became a productive player.
