Confirmed Signing Jack Grealish

Jack Grealish has less assists in the last two seasons of the Premier League than Nathan " The hype train " Patto.
My mate who is a Villa fan says he doesn't get that many goals/assists as he is more about building up the play. Said he gets loads of 'second assists' and is a selfless, team player.

He'll be the one laying it off to our rapid wingers who cross in for the strikers to score!

I do think they’ve done it as a bit of gamble to get into Europe next season, extra revenue etc etc.
I do think a signing like this heaps an increasingly amount of pressure on Moyes to get us there though.

I think it's more Moyes heaping pressure on himself.

If the Friedken's are bowing to him regarding the juicy financials of a,Grealish loan, as long as he gets his 3 or so other key positions,by 1st September the buck will stop with Moyes alone at seasons end.

You dont get assists by looking up, seeing two defenders, then recycling the ball. The Pep way.

Doucoure was our no 10 and his record stunk. 2 goals last season and he had a 1st touch like Jeffrey Dahmer. Grealish is a clear obvious upgrade to our attacking line, compared to anything we’ve had in recent years, miles above and you’d hope that will help others contribute more also.
Is your bar so low that you're comparing someone to Doucoure and are happy spending millions on loan for a 29 year old who's pretty much done nothing for the past few years?

Looks like your argument has kinda of fallen apart pal. :pint2:
You’ll have to show me your workings on that conclusion. You blamed Benitez for forcing him out, what exactly are you basing what you think we’ve missed out on since? The truth is he’s failed in multiple leagues that are nowhere near PL standard, but I’ll wait for your “truth” to justify your nonsense.

Thats what that nutcase said on Twitter about Siggy, he had a better second assists than Messi.

Never thought you’d resort to this …. It’s the kind of crap me or Matty would post ffs …. You’ve disappointed me 😞
Can't a fella be happy we've made a proper Everton signing?
Lad is a baller, got magic in his boots.
We aint had many I'm this excited about, apart from JRod, in a long time.
We used to regularly sign class players once upon a time.
Maybe we're getting the proper Everton back at last?

I think he's including the amortisation of their transfer fees in those costs. In which case he's about right.

Seriously because I'm looking at him based on how he's actually played for the past couple of seasons, not how he played several years ago. As for the players under 26 that's mainly down to Thelwell and the policy he introduced after we'd spent the past decade buying overpriced older players. I'd be surprised if he'd of spent millions on a 29 year old Grealish.
Every single one of our signings so far this year have been 26 and under. Only grealish is older at 29.

And a couple or several? Which is it? You aren’t one of those who think a couple is more than two are you?

I rate Grealish as a coming: I nearly always cried watching Wazza ,knowing full well that the fat controller and his henchman Moyes would flog him.
Of course there was Alan Ball another coming, he played with the Golden Vision. By God I'm looking forward to this season.
