To be fair city paid 100m for him and seem to understand football matešŸ‘
Although manure fans say they bought him so nobody else couldšŸ˜…
To pay £100m for him was completely delusional - as his record for them shows. Look I get we've all been fed up watching tripe for the past few years but the view of Grealish by most people on here bears no resemblance to what he's actually performed like.

You watch Mcatee tear it up for Forest and Grealish struggle with us now šŸ˜©šŸ˜‚
This is what genuinely frustrates me. We should be trying to build a team for the medium term and not wasting money on people like Grealish. Paying £20m for Mcatee makes much more sense. The fact that we are thinking about this as a 'premium loan' is concerning. Stop spunking money on 'names' for the short term and build a good young side.

Vast majority of our signings this summer have been very young. We also need a sprinkling of experience. We are just never happy are we?

I agree about the 100m. However i thought he was top drawer at villa and understand why the best team in England wanted him.
Defenders hate this lad when a manager allows him to play.
He'll either leave them for dead or get a free kick. Simply a league above the players we've signed in the last 8 years before Moyes.

If you don’t think Jack Grealish is an excellent footballer and, if signed for a Everton, would instantly become our best player, then you are either being contrary for the sake of it… or are an idiot.
I'd rather wait for him to earn that Everton player of the season award for us, than just hand it over to him, because of the name he carries. If he fullfills his potential for us, I guess you're in with more than a decent shout though.

Each to their own pal, but who's pandering, I'm simply stating my opinion! The guy wanted to stay and play for us and was forced out by Benitez. If Grealish does as much as Rodriguez did in his season for us I'll be very surprised, i'll be even more surprised if he manages to play more league games than him. He's had one half decent season in the last 5 years.

James had as many goal contributions that season as McNeil last season, with 400 more minutes. Just saying.

If Grealish takes us into Europe we then become attractive to players who don’t want to join us currently. You’d think he was 35 the way some people are going on. He’s 29 at the absolute peak of his powers. We’re a team that is absolutely desperate for creativity, confidence, experience, and star quality. He has it all.

His stats don't say that I'm afraid. A very good attacking midfielder would get into double figures in the league in at least one season i would say.
I don’t need stats mate, stats can get in the bin.

He just needs to forget everything that bald fraud coached into him and start playing his own type of footy again, then he’s light years ahead of what we’ve had and will improve us.

You seem to be very negative about this deal, when it seems a win for us whatever way you look at it?

He's not quick enough to leave anyone for dead. We haven't signed him, he's on loan and past his best. Buy players like Macatee for god's sake and build a proper side.

He was an integral part of the team in the 2022-23 campaign, making 50 appearances as City won the treble, starting every knockout game in the Champions League.

All of this, really
