Anybody know if you can get in to look at Everton way during the week. I have a stone for my dad and would like to pay a visit on my way back down south on Wednesday.
Thanks so much for replying, I'm going to try and get tickets for the palace game and see the stone then.I would highly doubt it. That area will be used as they start to put up the signage.
As it stands you can only go between the temporary fences to visit the club shop. I would hope after Brighton it will all be open.
I really feel like this video from around the 22 minute mark highlights just how much grey there is left around the stadium. Ideally needs painting blue asap.
Yes, I agree. An entirely visual and irrelevant thing, more for TV; I really don’t like how the rail seating looks. That area looks half empty even when it’s full. Big contrast with the upper level and the “wall” effect isn’t quite as imagined. As a lot were sitting down and leaning on the rails they were probably more visible than they will be for proper matches.
Know exactly where you’re coming from. Contrast that to the “limbs” we saw when Tarky rattled in that equaliser at Goodison. The whole Gwladys seemed to be moving and all you could see were people, and none of the actual stand. You’re not going to get that here I don’t think. People look to be more distanced apart which gives it an “empty” look and far too much of the stands/concrete is visible. I guess that’s why the stadium on the whole looks so big compared to Goodison? There’s only a little over 10k difference, but the new place seems twice as big!An entirely visual and irrelevant thing, more for TV; I really don’t like how the rail seating looks. Watching the game back, I think because all the concrete between rows, the steps etc is still super pale and new, the stadium doesn’t look “packed” like I thought it would. Some fantastic views from people’s seats being posted today. Pity flares aren’t allowed. Would look ace with a haze of blue smoke at night.
Said this to me lad, it looks awful. Hopefully everyone stands in the proper gamesAn entirely visual and irrelevant thing, more for TV; I really don’t like how the rail seating looks. It depends what turnstile you’ve been given access to, although hopefully we’ll be able to enter through any turnstile on our ring.I am in the upper south and went up an Esclator first test and Saturday
