It feels to me like they’re kind of going for their own version of what Brighton and Brentford do

They’ve signed and are looking to sign younger players with potential who we can develop and sell on for a profit in a few years time should they kick on

They’ve also gone in for Grealish too though, suggesting they’re taking more of a hybrid approach to that model where experienced players aren’t out of the question either

Should they succeed then this could be an effective business model that helps the club get to where it needs to be financially

Mum goes to the yoga classes that they have in EITC hub and last week they were told some of the big-wigs were coming in to see what happens in the hub. All of the ladies had their done for it and stuff -that wasn't really a pre-requisite for the meet - but she showed me a picture she had taken with all the group. It wasn't the Friedkins but mum kept explaining to me "no, no it's a franchise, it's the franchise". it was a load of chinese fellows; the one by mum looked a bit like Jackie Chan. Does this help?

Did notice a number of Japanese (Toyota?) in the directors box.

I’ve always the hybrid model was ‘try to sign anyone decent who will come to us’

A statement signing completed with Grealish.

I feel some apologies are due to our fantastic new owners.

Be humble, admit you misjudged them and let’s all move on together.
