New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Why would they need to make a comment?

Got 0 to do with Everton and should not be bringing this to a football match.

Think they did the right thing asking for it to be covered up.
What on Earth are you on about? Would they have been denied access if it was an Ireland shirt or any other country for that matter?

Please shed some light on why it should be covered up?

If I'm honest I couldn't see right down the touchline to the corner up the other end - so being a lazy arse I just watched the big screen instead of standing up or craning my neck forward and left, when the action was down there. Minor gripe given some of the views I've previously had at Goodison. We moved into block 001 row 27 for the legends game at it was a perfect view.

Just remembered that some in the first few rows were having a go at the cameraman you can see bottom right, for doing his job. It obviously blocked there view when we attacked. Just another thing people need to get used to and accept now we are big time.

Ukraine gear would be absolutely fine tho ye?
Personal opinion would be no, as any political discussions / topics that do not involve Everton should not be at the match and / or in forum discussions. Leave this elsewhere!

I do not know the policy on Ukraine gear but at the time of any Ukraine flags was in support of Myko.

Have a go at me all you like mate and who ever else has responded to my post... I am not going to comment further as I know 0 about the conflict and would rather stay as far away from it as possible.

For me... if it is political / divisive and doesn't involve Everton or impact any of the players / club then it should not be allowed inside the stadium.

She was allowed in and had it covered up. Right decision.... No need to then put it on social media.

I saw one fan in the 2nd row of the family stand having a go at the Roma team for warming up most of the 2nd half as they were obstructing his view of our goal and some of the play down that end.

If you don't want anyone to comment on your comments then keep your comments to yourself.

Everton made a comment on this yet?

Bit of a disgrace tbh.

Wonder Who told her to cover up? was it a steward? on her post on Threads she said she was let into Goodison with and the first test event at BMD and a steward complimented her on her top. So is it down to an individual steward or some nefarious new policy?

I appreciate you’re likely not going to respond here but if you know 0 about the conflict then how on Earth are you in a position to comment on whether or not she should have been made to cover up.

Perhaps invest even 10 minutes into learning about humanitarian crisis before choosing to comment. And for what it’s worth I wear a Palestine flag badge on my jacket and will continue to do so whether I’m at the match or in the pub, which is in no way breaking any rules or laws.

Totally off topic here so if you want to continue this please PM me and I’ll be happy to share with you what’s actually happening in Gaza and why it’s important for us all, as humans, to be concerned.
