I wouldn’t expect him to be starting any time soon.

You haven't seen his training videos over the Summer then have you.

Think some people think he's a different type of player to what he is, seen him called a show pony. Make no mistake he has all the skill and quality, but he is a shockingly smart player. The bottom line is we need to win something, preferably in the next two seasons, If he helps us win something then it'll be a stroke of genius by Moyes. I'd get Dibling as well then we'll have Grealish, Dibling, Ndiaye and Alcaraz two to start and two to come of the bench for the two wide positions. Also, we could play 3 at times with one in the number 10 role.

I’m more than happy we’ve brought him in, however £50m next summer for a thirty year old (31 in September 2026) is excessive.

We’ll either renegotiate or walk away.
