New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Good to see that they can split the away section for when we're playing teams with paltry fan bases. Roma only had the front section, with the disabled seating area half way up acting as a barrier with extra police/stewards and Everton fans sat in the bit above.
Yeah, I noticed that. Looks like you can access the rear of that corner from the upper concourse.

This is my view South (Upper) block 208 row 33 !

Seen a few comments like this from the usual suspects, that the new ground wont have the atmosphere of Goodison so therefore we'll do worse.
I mean, we haven't even played a proper competitive game there yet, but what do they care about facts? The narrative has already been set. Expect more nonsense like this going forward.

This is easily solvable by making it instantly a bear pit. That's on those that go every week.

I don't think its only about atmosphere though. Fans, players and staff all have to adapt to new habits, routines and environment. It all takes time to settle that all down, even though it all.looks amazing it will take a while until all folk can concentrate 100% on the football.

Must admit only being a friendly and all, I was concentrating quite a bit on the stadium and my surroundings, in fact I found the Legends game far more entertaining. Hibbo was hilarious, he hardly moved, Baines still a baller.

Just a reminder, for a bit of perspective...

We're going to be using this stadium for like the next, what, 80+ years? I dunno. Either way, a long time...

Things were never going to be perfect on day dot. We have SO much time & scope for this place to continue to evolve, so I don't believe that we should ever be worried that things won't consistently improve year-on-year.

Spot on.

Arsenal spent the first 12 to 18 months improving the aesthetics of the Emirates, and it took a while for procedures to be put in place.

Likewise, both Spurs and City have had to go through a period of familiarisation and improvement. So, BMD isn’t the finished article, yet.

As our finances improve, the club will be able to outlay more on the fine details as well, whereas the stadium was built under austerity.

People forget that Goodison evolved over 130 years
