Hi mate, what was the bus? A soccer bus type thing or a normal Arriva/Stagecoach service? Still can’t decide what to do about getting there and this sounds less painless than most options I have available…

Hi mate, it was a Stagecoach Soccer bus, starting off from Kirkby. I got on to it on Walton Lane. If the service runs throughout the season then that for me would be as good an option as any to get to the ground.

Upper East here and had to eye shield for about 10 minutes of the legend game as the sun was poking just over the rim of the south stand. Not much more to say about it really, unless we want a dome it's not gonna be sun proof!

I picked south stand for this very reason.

Well exactly, this was about 6pm in August. Not going to have that problem, even at Saturday tea time games after the first few months of the season, so I think we will be ok!

Anyone else sold a ticket for a seat that didn’t exist? Didn’t happen to us but to a few poor fellas in our block in the Upper South. Even the head steward couldn’t solve it.

I've seen people moan about bland stair ways, the steepness of the South Stand the divide at the bottom of escalates thay prevent people getting to the lower tiers.

I'm not a stadium fanboy and much preferred Goodison, but people are being ridiculous and we really are a fan base that moans about anything.

I wouldn't say that about the fanbase, more we have a very vocal minority of the fanbase that moans about anything and everything.

Good to see that they can split the away section for when we're playing teams with paltry fan bases. Roma only had the front section, with the disabled seating area half way up acting as a barrier with extra police/stewards and Everton fans sat in the bit above.
