Don't think we will get them all , could see McNeil getting sold if we even got two of them in.

I've said a few times that I can very much see us doing so. His book value is something like 4-5m now, he's on circa 25k per week so very affordable for even mid to top end championship teams. Current market you'd probably be able to get close to 18-20m for him due to his experience, wages and relatively young age still.

For the role he'll play if we get in even one or two more then it's daft keeping a saleable asset around who is that out of favour

Begging for an update on this one today. I don’t care if it’s us moving on with a bid for somebody else for the position, but I can’t take another day of “Southampton are sticking to their valuation and Everton are unwilling to match it and are investigating other blah blah blah”.

First game in one week, first home game in less than two weeks, window shut in three weeks. The time is going to disappear.

With 100% here. Gotten very boring this one and it seems they’re prepared to wait it out until the dying minutes of the window to see if Southampton lower their demands. The good news is we’ve only got three weeks of all this left before we’re all put out of our misery and we’ll know exactly what we’ve got and haven’t got and can concentrate on the actual football.

Still waiting for Southampton to sign a replacement, as we have for the last week.
Not heard how they are getting on signing Fellows from West Brom.

Offer Saints Armstrong or Chermiti on a free season loan as a sweetener and offer them 40+5 and 12.5% sell-on clause on profit. We can pick up a free/loan to replace whichever one goes eg Brownhill if it is Armstrong. One final push. If they still won’t budge then act decisively with offers elsewhere.

I think it would be madness to sell him.

Even in the worst case scenario he will play a role in every game. Ndiaye seems to hobble off every game.

We need a squad of decent players. It has been our downfall for years now.
