I doubt thats correct, Jack Grealish has a contract with City, they will pay his wages IMO.

Totally IMO, screw AI, its probably got its Data from bad sources.

Semantics? City will pay his wages as per his contract. Just separately we'll give them £££s so how anyone apportions that between a loan fee and a contribution towards wages is kind of irrelevant?

But you can loan a player for a fee, and still pay 100% of their wages on top.

So it's semantics but I'm sure how it's allocated in football tedious finance will differ.

One possible fly in the ointment is the change in PSR to a wages percentage of turnover.
Unless or until we get regular European football or start winning pots again, it will be a constraint albeit a navigable one

Exactly, its a loan fee.

We are not paying his wages, why do people think when you sign people on loan you pay their wages?

Man City will continue to pay his wages, as per their contract that they signed with him.

It is not difficult is it.

At no point in time EVER, do you ever pay a loan player his wages.

Depends on the term and conditions of the loan.

Yep Daddies is bad! an awful aftertaste in keeping with a lot that's happened at Everton in recent times.

If the Friedken's are backing Moysey on this one, then as long as the other signings follow, he has to deliver this season you would feel.

1) He's a marquee signing which will hopefully encourage other players to come.

2) The outlay for us until his loan ends on the 30th June will be about £11.5 mill. You don't get much for that nowadays.

No brainer imho

Sky saying nothing will happen until the end of the transfer window before.
Sky has no clue these days. They have the transfer muppets and a bunch of podcasters where they used to have journalists with decades of experience. Let us see what Boyland, Joyce etc. have to say tomorrow.
