New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I feel like I’m being dim, there’s two towers on that walkway, my family brick is on the right of one of them

I cannot tell which tower or which area the stone is

Admittedly, I’m having a brain fart
Also quite pissed

And people's experience travelling by car ? How did you get on ? How far did you have to park away ? How long did it take you to get in/out compared to Goodison ? Will you continue to travel by car ?

I think the Domingo’s and Village St separation might need to looked at as well.

Domingo’s is a sit down meal sold on a match by match basis but access to Village St areas including bars.

Domingo’s sells drinks packages to go with meal and match ticket but what is to stop someone just getting their drinks from Village St bars without having to pay?

I might be over thinking this but that would create extra demand over the expected supply hence more queues and waiting and unhappy fans.

I sat in my seat and ended up covered in concrete dust - is it too much to expect it to be clean or cleanish at least ?

It was quite dusty where I was sat, let's see if they give it a good wash for Brighton.

Is the club view not on level 3 and everyone else in the upper tier level 2?

That is right, but that doesn't stop people either side of club view walking along the terracing and then going into one of the vomitories for level 3.

Parked at Prince's dock, took 15 mins to speedy walk, jog, pay and get up to the 6th floor. As I got out things were looking ok but traffic soon built up from all sides, if i was 5/10 mins later it could have been total gridlock. Where I was it was harder than Goodison.

I was supposed to park at Walter Street had I got to Liverpool when I should have (before 9am), due to a junction closure on the M6 I was delayed by over 2 and a half hours, so pointless even trying to get that close. If I had of parked there though I reckon it would have been easier than Goodison, would have been on Scotland road within 10 mins of leaving the ground.

Complete balls up: ended up in Liverpool One. Won't be repeated as was absolute carnage in there yesterday afternoon. Got a cab to the ground - mistake took ages. Walked back in lovely sunshine and won't hesitate going forward.

Thought this as well but reckoned as a test event for £25 I wasn't bothered.

I agree for a test event and did not expect free f&b for £25 but a wrinkle they will need to iron out.

I walked from Castle St and took me 25 minutes as I was with my wife but could do it in closer to 20 if I was by myself.

It was a lovely evening walk back into town.

Did people think it was going to be perfect? There will be teething issues for months, maybe even the whole season.

There are so many variables a sold out crowd brings that you can’t stress test for. Even modelling using Goodison is limited as peoples behaviours will change with the new facilities.

With regards to Club View, you’ve bought an experience based on marketing and CGI. The reality is some people’s expectations are not going to be reflected.

People need to just accept it will take time.

I noticed that the East Stand got a real 15 minutes blast of sunshine in the second half and most of the lower tier had arms and hands up covering their eyes.

Anyone sat there from this forum who could comment on the experience?

Went to the Windy after the blue mile beforehand and it was sound, not too busy. Queue for turnstile 8 was horrific, after asking a steward he said weirdly the queue was for both 8 and 9 although 9 had no queue. I chanced it and got in.

The upper south concourse was busy but think it will settle down as everybody gets their bearings, also not sure how many came around to have a look at the bar with the view. HT we ordered 2 Stella (ran out of San Miguel) and got 1.75 pints. When questioned was told "that's the best you're gonna get"! After saying we'd paid for 2 pints they went and got us a half. Anybody in the upper south find any Guinness? Didn't fancy walking around the other stands yesterday.

Been scouring the internet this morning and it seems that Spurs also had a lot of teething issues when their stadium was brand new. I know this is an internet forum and it’s so tempting to catastrophize absolutely everything, but give it a little time and everything will be ironed out.
