I’d say the 25% sell on was put there to flush out any other interested parties while Everton rightly put the brakes on.

He'll probably be competing with Saka & Nwaneri for an England squad place in 3 seasons time. He looks to be on an upward trajectory and with limited competition should do well under Moyes

We also didn't have the upfront fee to hand and wanted a Beto style 'no money now' deal. Leeds were never going for that in their situation.
