I don’t think it matters anyway tbh, teams have big turnovers of players every year now.

I’ve had enough of being pessimistic. We’ve had it terrible the last few seasons. It’s time to look onward and upward and enjoy it all. I’m not saying we’ll make Europe but I don’t think it’s as far out of reach as people think. The teams around us are weaker and have lost key players and not signed anyone. And there are alot of teams in Europe this year which is going to be hard to juggle.

Moyes had us 8th on form once he took over. And I think we are stronger already. Add those two and utilise the loan market and why not be optimistic?

Think we need a prolific striker first and foremost. Back 4 kicks itself. Midfield has potential. I worry about CF position if we're gonna challenge for 8th.

I reckon we have decent attacking midfielders and we’ll create more chances and be less reliant on a CF to score all the goals. We were already challenging for 8th second half of last season.

I'd actually be completely fine if we agreed to a two year loan deal covering the 250k per week with city and the player. Take him up to the end of his contract at City.
