Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

Good point but out of those six players for three positions there’s none who are proficient in right wing as their primary position mate, which leaves six players role two positions and £25m new signing KDH in the mix too.
given their style, I’m not too worried about primary positions.

For example, if we had ndiaye, grealish and dibling across the three, I’d imagine they’d be swapping positions constantly during games which I reckon will be an absolute nightmare to defend against.

If we got those two I’ll be as excited as I’ve been for a long time. We could be some force, especially given a base of our back 5 plus Gueye.

I’d be keeping an eye on flights to Europe, put it that way.

Lukaku, Barry, Arteta, Pienaar, Howard, they were good uses of a loan too. None of them were ‘squad fillers’.
Are we going to make Grealish permanent?

I mean my main objection here is that it’s a super short term move. If you think we can get him signed up for two or three more years this is completely fine. I don’t see that as a possibility.

Of course I do that's point Grealish offers that, he will make us more attractive to watch, win us lots of free kicks outside of the box and add invention to our attack/ midfield and wide areas. Shake you're angle may I ask ?
So why were you unsure about my post saying I want him to do loads of stepovers and roar at us like Russel Crowe?
And I have no idea what your last sentence means

Just seems a little unbalanced without a dedicated right winger but hope you’re right and I’m misplaced really.

I don’t think anyone thought signing Lukaku permanently was possible either though.

I don’t think it matters anyway tbh, teams have big turnovers of players every year now.

I didn't have a clue what you were saying about loads of stepovers and roaring like Russel Crowe ? Thought you were taking the piss if I'm honest matey, so it appears we are on the same page ? But just expressing it in a different way.

I do see your point. But ndiaye isn’t really a dedicated left winger either.

Though I would say that I reckon we’ll still fully utilise the loan market by the end of the month so let’s see what happens there!

Christ.

I used to get accused of not watching the matches but this is a really watch the players moment. Ndiaye is literally Grealish when he broke on the scene at Villa. They dribble and move similar, they have the same weird ball striking, they play passes into similar areas. Can and should arent the same thing, and neither should play anywhere else.

Also we just spent a ton of money on a #10 no? So how does that work?
I'd say KDH is definitely better known as an 8

The post I replied to said we deserved to be entertained
I want to be entertained
Jack will be the most entertaining player we’ve been able to watch live in person since… maybe Kanchelskis? It’s been a while whoever it is
With Ndiaye and possibly Dibling as well I’d actually be excited to watch us again for the first time in ages
