To be honest I would have asked where you got the drugs from and could I have some. Such a huge upgrade and with it being World Cup year he will be determined to make that squad which can only help us.

N’Diaye had started about 10 games at left wing in his career until we signed him. The idea he can’t play in the centre or the right is ridiculous tbh. Good footballers can play anywhere.

This makes more sense, but then a week after signing KDB it would mean the latter is played further back next to Gueye? As we’re not in the place for £25m subs yet.

Could be Moyes does that Christmas tree formation he’s tried in pre season I suppose.

My real concern with this would be shattering our wage structure for a loan player. But as 1) he hasn’t signed yet and 2) we got no knowledge of that it’s a speculative anxiety really.

I think we need to move away from ‘first eleven’ mentality a bit. Especially now it’s 5 subs.

Our issue has been that we’ve struggled late on because the quality has dropped when we’ve had to sub players like ndiaye. If we get dibling and grealish we’ll have the following players all capable of playing a role across those front 3 midfield positions:

Dibling
Ndiaye
KDH
Alcaraz
McNeil

That’s a huge improvement on our options last season imo and genuine depth.

Good point but out of those six players for three positions there’s none who are proficient in right wing as their primary position mate, which leaves six players role two positions and £25m new signing KDH in the mix too.

The idea of a loan to fill out the squad I’m fine with. Grealish is not going to be squad filler. I don’t think that serves us well.

Of course I do that's point Grealish offers that, he will make us more attractive to watch, win us lots of free kicks outside of the box and add invention to our attack/ midfield and wide areas. What is you're angle may I ask ?
