If instead of 2500 minutes Ndiaye gets 1500 that’s a huge negative
I said present and future. The and matters a lot. Not or. And.Yeh in no way does Jack Grealish not have a positive impact on our present![]()
Excellent, now that we have a proven set piece coach.I think Moyes likes a player who get loads of free kicks. Kilbane was the master at that for us years ago, but this feller makes it into an art form.
Because he's better than Ndiaye and co.Really the biggest thing for me is I highly rate Ndiaye and don’t want to see his career and growth stunted by someone we have to turn around and give back. We could start to build a really exciting attack over the next few years with Ndiaye, Barry, Alcaraz and then Dibling or whoever else we sign in this and future windows.
But instead we’re going to drop a guy in who will demand minutes and then be gone? Why?

The wage structure argument is the one I’d be most inclined to accept, but all summer so far we’ve heard shouts of “we were promised elite players”, “do what it takes to land targets”, etc. If we were going to make a statement signing of any kind then the wage structure and or/transfer record was always gonna be troubled. This makes more sense, but then a week after signing KDB it would mean the latter is played further back next to Gueye? As we’re not in the place for £25m subs yet.
Could be Moyes does that Christmas tree formation he’s tried in pre season I suppose.
My real concern with this would be shattering our wage structure for a loan player. But as 1) he hasn’t signed yet and 2) we got no knowledge of that it’s a speculative anxiety really.
Big oil seems to forget we lose Ndiaye for a month (amongst others) let alone the fact we might possibly have a season with options so that we can finally rotate players for a change.Only for you. Don't you want good options available on the bench? Ndiaye is our best player he's gonna be starting regardless. You're just projecting a made up negative as per.

It’s what it takes to get the deal done mate. It would appear this is one that Moyes really wants so we’re getting him in. There’s gonna be a “what if?” with every transfer. I imagine if I go into the KDH thread now there’s gonna be some takes that already stink to high heaven. And then he takes his 12m and leaves to go somewhere else. If this was a free transfer at more reasonable wages it’s a different deal. On loan with us reportedly covering 250k a week is not it.

Might give us more of an edge with targets if we’ve pulled a Grealish, like a domino in place ready to fallOne of those signings that will look good if we also manage to address the priority positions of the right hand side, but will look bizarre and ridiculous if we don’t manage to do that.
GrealishNeither has consistently played as well central. I’ve watched a lot of Jack Grealish guys he’s never been as consistent in the center.
It would seem some supporters want ‘Elite’ players as long as they aren’t paid too much, the cost of a pint isn’t too expensive and stadium sponsor names should easily roll off the tongue.
You’d like to think that players can see what we’re trying to do with this kind of short term play and get behind it in their own quest for improvement/European footy. Defo the potential to backfire and unsettle some, but I guess that’s where Davey earns his corn.
I want the team to continue building piece by piece with smart moves that have a positive impact on the clubs present and future success both on the field and financially. I think it’s easy to see why this doesn’t fit.
