Confirmed Signing Jack Grealish

250k per week works out for the full season given say he arrives 11th August as 11.5m total paid.

Signing say a 28-29yo on a three year deal for 20m on 75k per week would cost us per season 10.8m per season with little to no real resale after and that's ignoring any signing on and agent fees which likely would see the cost pushed up to around the 11.5m mark.

Difference being if Grealish is a success we can do a similar deal next season with city, if he isn't we walk away now lasting residual costs carrying over, on the signed player you are paying that 11m for next and the one after also.

Ok, that's fair enough on the loan fee.

But let's get this done NOW and get down to buying some decent quality in attack to go with him.

And RB is still a huge concern for us. That has to be sorted before this window slams shut.

Different strokes and all that, but I can’t help but feel like anyone who doesn’t think this is a good move is just very, very determined to be miserable.
Really the biggest thing for me is I highly rate Ndiaye and don’t want to see his career and growth stunted by someone we have to turn around and give back. We could start to build a really exciting attack over the next few years with Ndiaye, Barry, Alcaraz and then Dibling or whoever else we sign in this and future windows.

But instead we’re going to drop a guy in who will demand minutes and then be gone? Why?

Won’t be having any of those good footballers here, thank you very much.

Nidaye is one of first names on team sheet regardless if we bring in Grealish

I'm not following you here mate. What is wrong with having Grealish and Ndiaye playing at the same time and how does it have a negative effect on Ndiaye?

And why would a loaned Grealish stop this from happening?

It depends how many we do and how expensive they are

We’ve got some young hungry players with potential but have a lack of experienced players with genuine quality

He fits that category

I’m sure they’ll find a way to play him and N’Diyae together and make it work
We’re literally starting Idrissa Gueye and James Tarkowski every week how much experience are we looking for?
