Ah, that's good news. Do we expect it to be ready for the first game against Brighton?Haven't put that sign up yet. One to go on the side, too.
Watched the first half in the south stand....
We watched the first game in East stand and second game in North stand....second half in the west stand...
Spot on about the attendance but I always thought that would be a stretch TBH.BTW, there's no way that was a full house today. Empty seats all over the place...blocks in some places.
Couldn't say, but I do think Sandhills was closer than say Kirkdale to Goodison. About a 10 minute walkIs that a fairly flat ish walk for a 71yr old at around 35mins? Always drove and parked Stanley Park for Goodison. Thinking now to get the train to Lime St Station.
Aww, bless them mate, it's a lovely pic
First game with both my boys…. Youngest one isn’t eligible for a ST yet, but at only 3 he isn’t ready yet as we worked out today!Aww, bless them mate, it's a lovely pic
...Daddy did good today![]()
They look like they had a great day pal![]()
I'm just glad you made it past that enormous dock wall and weren't chopped to mincemeat by those wind turbines.Teething problems aside, It is marvellous that stadium.
Second half I forgot Everton's predictably inept play and just spent the last half hour gazing at the roof and the sheer 'kin sheerness of that blue wall.
It's an incredible interior and the position of it on the banks of the Mersey with those backdrops is staggering. Simply world class.
A stadium that deserves a Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in. It's utterly 'kin sensational.
There's always next time...I'm just glad you made it past that enormous dock wall and weren't chopped to mincemeat by those wind turbines.
There is a God after all![]()
Only problem I have is - Last Pennine Express Leeds train leaves Lime St around 11pm. Would have around 1 hour to get back after a night match. If can't would be well and truly stuffed!Couldn't say, but I do think Sandhills was closer than say Kirkdale to Goodison. About a 10 minute walk
This is frying my brain. You scan your card, walk in, pick up what you want and just leave and you’ll be charged for what you take? How do they know what you’re picking up? And if there’s several people in there at once, isn’t there a danger YOUR card is the one that gets charged for an armful of goods that someone else picks up? I don’t get it.

Would we have ever have hit capacity at 39,000 Goodison for a pre season friendly?
