BTW, there's no way that was a full house today. Empty seats all over the place...blocks in some places.

Probably all them thousand’s of seats they will try to sell as hospitality with a hot dog and a pint.

My 1st thoughts are get in early, drinks no issue got served straight away at the drinks counters, didn't sell any food here, then qued up to get some loaded chicken, never again for me not that good.

sat in my season ticket seat south stand couldn't believe how many times people got up out of their seats . I was in the main stand at Goodison no issues with this.

Lots of Everton das where we where.

It was literally a minutes walk, in the opposite direction to where everyone was heading & I found a bar with 3 people in front of me in the queue

Didn't need to mate. The checks at the gate were lax. Only people with cans were getting pulled aside as far as I could tell. I waltzed in with me nuts and bottle of water no problem.

Went by car today and parked next to the Mercedes garage on Pall Mall. There's a few car parks down there and walk not too bad (about 20 mins).

The Blue House: walked in and walked out abut 10 seconds later.

It was like the black hole of Calcutta with music played at mind boggling volume. It felt like a CIA sensory deprivation prison. WTF people get out of that I dont know.

The Bramley Moore was easily better.

What made Sandhills a success today lads? Very welcome comments compared to the two previous 10 and 25000 games. The new footbridge?The staggered exit? People swerving it?

The filtering system worked a treat, manned by dozens of staff. The filters went back onto the main road with loads of signs and staff with loudhailers directing fans into the right lane. I waited only 10 mins for the Headbolt Lane train.

Clearly not everyone was there due to the legends match being played (I left after the main game) but I was very impressed. If they can keep this up all season it will be terrific. Not sure what the Plan B is if there is a fault on the line or cancellations, though. Cross that bridge when I come to it!
