...or so. Yes.

That can't be right, people wont pay them prices (apparently)Queues insane for food and drink, either teething problems or they've underestimated demand and need more vending points, am hoping it's the earlier and not the latter
Probably all them thousand’s of seats they will try to sell as hospitality with a hot dog and a pint.Watched the first half in the south stand....

BTW, there's no way that was a full house today. Empty seats all over the place...blocks in some places.
At half time? It wasn't far off a crush at the bottom of 246It was literally a minutes walk, in the opposite direction to where everyone was heading & I found a bar with 3 people in front of me in the queue
...I was in 235, so not too far from you
I was throwing holy water at it in the end. That might have contributed to it beingReckon it was old duffers like you, not knowing where to scan your QR code, that held me up at gate 2.
Did that wand thing not flag up your genital piercing Dave?Didn't need to mate. The checks at the gate were lax. Only people with cans were getting pulled aside as far as I could tell. I waltzed in with me nuts and bottle of water no problem.![]()
Went by car today and parked next to the Mercedes garage on Pall Mall. There's a few car parks down there and walk not too bad (about 20 mins).Really need advice for getting there now..
By car where would you park?
By train is Sandhills the one to go to? Or loads of similiar options?
Thanks to those that can..
Well I'm shocked that you're not into a bit of drum & base, DaveThe Blue House: walked in and walked out abut 10 seconds later.
It was like the black hole of Calcutta with music played at mind boggling volume. It felt like a CIA sensory deprivation prison. WTF people get out of that I dont know.
The Bramley Moore was easily better.

The filtering system worked a treat, manned by dozens of staff. The filters went back onto the main road with loads of signs and staff with loudhailers directing fans into the right lane. I waited only 10 mins for the Headbolt Lane train. What made Sandhills a success today lads? Very welcome comments compared to the two previous 10 and 25000 games. The new footbridge? The staggered exit? People swerving it?

Clearly not everyone was there due to the legends match being played (I left after the main game) but I was very impressed. If they can keep this up all season it will be terrific. Not sure what the Plan B is if there is a fault on the line or cancellations, though. Cross that bridge when I come to it!
